CBSE CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR THE CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST CTET NOVEMBER 2012 EXAM FOR PROVIDING ELIGIBILITY FOR TEACHER JOBS TO TEACH CLASSES I TO VII
NAME OF THE EXAM : CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST CTET-2012 NOVEMBER
APPLICABILITY OF CTET : The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and NCT of Delhi.
EXAM PATTERN OF CTET : The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET , PAPER-1 I AND PAPER-2 II
ELIGIBILITY : Is as given below
PAPER-I 1 -Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) : Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
PAPER-2 II - Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
CTET-2012 FEE DETAILS: Candidates need to pay the fee as given below
FOR PAPER-I OR PAPER-II : Rs 500/- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 250/- for SC/ST/DIFF ABLED candidates
FOR BOTH PAPER-1 AND PAPER-2 : Rs 800/- for GENERAL/OBC candidates and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/DIFF ABLE candidates
MODE OF FEE PAYMENT : The fee has to be remitted through Demand Draft in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your Registration Number, Name, Address, and Mobile/Telephone Number on the back of the Demand Draft.
APPLY PROCESS : Candidates need to apply online only . The apply online application submission link apply process how to apply details are available at WWW.CTET.NIC.IN WWW.CBSE.NIC.IN . The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation page after successful submission of data, which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, along with the Bank Draft.
